Eleanor and Ueno’s matrimonial bliss was an extraordinary cross-cultural union that left an indelible mark on everyone who had the fortune to witness it. The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur provided an opulent and majestic backdrop for the nuptials, which was a confluence of two distinct cultures – the groom, Ueno, hailed from Tokyo, Japan, while the bride, Eleanor, was a Malaysian beauty.
Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was held at the Orchid Conservatory, which provided a stunning and picturesque view, and the couple exchanged their heartfelt vows and completed the Registration of Marriage (ROM). Eleanor’s pristine white gown radiated elegance and beauty, while Ueno’s immaculate tuxedo suit was nothing short of dapper.
The ceremony included a traditional Chinese tea ritual that was a magnificent sight to behold, as both families partook in the ritualistic ceremony. A lavish high-tea event followed the ceremony, where guests enjoyed sweet and savory treats while sharing anecdotes. There was a beautiful blend of Malaysian and Japanese traditions at the wedding ceremony.
Dinner Reception
To culminate the celebrations, the couple hosted a dinner reception at The Canopy, which offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the city skyline. The ambience was perfect for the guests to bask in the glory of the couple’s love and sing and dance the night away.
A pleasure to be a part of their special day. The wedding ceremony occurred before the COVID-19 pandemic, but it serves as a powerful reminder that love is stronger than all obstacles. As a testament to love, Eleanor and Ueno’s cross-cultural wedding was an ode to love.
