Wedding at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur. A wedding with a Tropical Green and Navy Blue Theme.
by Cliff Choong
The wedding at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur of Ashley & Ken is one of my favorite weddings. I fell in love with the bridesmaids’ dresses prepared by the bride as soon as I saw them. It was Tropical Green, a unique choice of color and not a color that a bride usually picks. Before, most brides chose a more common color like pink, beige, or white. Yet, it still coincided well with the whole rustic wedding theme. All these have to be a credit to the bride herself. Ashley has a unique taste in many things. I have a feeling that picking up a unique color for a bridesmaid dress would be a new trend for the wedding couple.
Ashley and Ken is an adorable and generous couple and both with a very down to earth personality. Above all, they are both epicures. We had our first meeting at an Italian cuisine restaurant owned by Ken. At first, I didn’t know Ken was the owner of the restaurant. I went to a place that Ashley wanted to meet up which is a restaurant named A’roma somewhere in PJ. I thought it was going to be a meeting over a coffee and leave before the couple continues with their dinner. (Because I usually meet up with my couple at a cafe.) Instead, they served me a very delicate dinner. Their generous hospitality completely flattered me.
