Maternity Photography Session in Amsterdam at Home
The weather was gloomy, rain was forecasted for the afternoon, and their new home was still in the middle of renovations. So, instead of chasing a perfect location, we stayed in and made the most of the space they already had. Honestly, that made the whole experience feel even more intimate.
There was no fancy setup, and no big production. Instead, there was laughter, anticipation, and the quiet tenderness that naturally comes with waiting for a baby. Their Mini Photo Session felt personal in the best way, because it reflected this season of life exactly as it was: simple, honest, and full of love.

An Amsterdam Maternity Portrait Filled With Meaning
What I love most about an Amsterdam Maternity Portrait like this is that it proves beautiful photographs do not depend on a perfect setting. Sometimes, the most meaningful images come from everyday places, where a couple can simply be themselves.
A heartfelt thank you to Fernando’s sister, Irenelena, for inviting me to capture these memories for them. Moments like these remind me that photography is so much more than creating beautiful images. It is about trust, relationships, and being welcomed into people’s lives during some of their most meaningful seasons.
As Ecclesiastes 3:11 reminds us, God makes everything beautiful in its time. Looking at Mong and Fernando now, that truth feels especially close to my heart.

A Beautiful Season of Waiting and Growing
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine flying from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam not only for a wedding, but also for the next chapter of the same couple’s story. God has been so faithful, and through photography, He has allowed me to meet incredible people who often become friends.

Thank you, Mong and Fernando, for trusting me once again. I cannot wait to see where this beautiful journey takes your family next.
